Sam`s Tap Room
| Red Lodge, Montana has a long history with beer. Before the times of Prohibition, Red Lodge Brewing Company made great local beer. Many years later, Sam Hoffmann started Red Lodge Ales Brewing Company in downtown Red Lodge. By using soft, glacial water, heated by a solar thermal array, adding Montana grown and malted barley and naturally cooled by cold Beartooth Mountain air, Red Lodge Ales produces quality beer for today`s discerning beer lovers.

Babcock and Miles
| It began with a building in need of love and a town in need of cheese. In the winter of 2008 Karen Porth, a physician in need of a sabbatical, and her architect husband Andrew, who has a professed weakness for run down buildings, purchased the structure at 105 W 12th St. and began demolition work. ??Nine months later, Babcock & Miles, Ltd., Merchants of the Delectable, opened its doors to the delight of local and visiting turophiles (cheese lovers) and enophiles alike.
In April 2016 Steve and Kim Haman purchased Babcock & Miles from its founders, Andrew and Karen Porth. Steve was hired in April 2009 as Sales and Marketing Manager and brought with him a passion for fine food and wine that has only grown over the years. Steve and Kim, along with their devoted staff are committed to honoring the founders vision of being the Merchants of the Delectable! |
